The importance of correcting the ground

Soil correction has as main objective to establish its balance, so that the plants develop in a healthy way, avoiding the presence of pests and diseases, impacting on increasing the productivity of planting.
For geological reasons, Brazilian soils tend to be more acidic, that is, they present a greater amount of ions, mainly hydrogen (H), which are not always ideal for the development of a certain culture, such as that of African mahogany.
Climatic or even chemical processes can alter the configuration of the nutrients present in the earth. To identify the degree of balance between them it is recommended to analyze the soil to assess its fertility.
Through soil analysis, it is possible to know how the land is doing. Thus, a prior study and good planning is necessary before carrying out corrections and planting. The amounts of fertilizer and lime vary according to the result of the analysis, and it is recommended to look for a qualified professional such as agronomist or forest engineer to guide the necessary procedures to correct the area.
